Remove the cleaner from the pool and place it upside down on a towel or soft surface.
Locate the pods on the bottom of the cleaner — they're the two large rectangular assemblies on either side.
Remove the retaining screws (Phillips head) that hold each pod to the cleaner body.
Slide the old pods off. Snap the shoes off the old pods if you're reusing the pods and only replacing shoes.
If replacing pods: install new shoes onto the new pods (they snap into place). Attach the pods to the cleaner body with the original screws. Ensure the directional flap faces the rear.
