How to Winterize Your RV with This Kit
- Drain all holding tanks (fresh, gray, black) completely
- Open all faucets, shower heads, and toilet valves
- Connect blow-out adapter to RV city water inlet
- Connect air compressor (set to 30-40 PSI MAX — do NOT exceed 50 PSI)
- Open brass valve gradually and blow air through system
- Close each faucet as water stops and only air comes out
- Don't forget: outdoor shower, toilet sprayer, ice maker line, and low-point drains
- Pour RV antifreeze into all drain P-traps (sinks, shower, toilet bowl)

Q: Do I still need RV antifreeze if I use this?
A: You still need to pour antifreeze into drain P-traps (sinks, shower, toilet). The blow-out method clears the water lines but does NOT protect the traps. A gallon of RV antifreeze for traps is still recommended.
Q: What PSI should I set my compressor to?
A: 30-40 PSI is ideal. Never exceed 50 PSI — RV plumbing is designed for 40-60 PSI water pressure, and air pressure is more aggressive. Start low and increase only if needed.
Q: Will this work with any air compressor?
A: Yes, as long as your compressor has a standard 1/4" industrial quick-connect coupler (the most common type). Works with pancake, hot dog, and portable compressors.
Q: Is the blow-out method better than using antifreeze?
