Q: Do I need to replace the O-ring with every fuel filter change?
A: The nitrile O-ring is designed for multiple uses and typically lasts 5+ filter changes. We recommend inspecting it during each filter change and replacing if any cracking or flattening is visible.
Q: How tight should I torque the bleeder screw?
A: Hand-tighten until the O-ring contacts the housing surface, then tighten an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn with a wrench. The O-ring provides the seal — over-torquing is unnecessary and may damage threads.
Q: Will this fix my fuel leak at the top of the filter housing?
