The iFJF Pool Hose Adapter B solves the most common pool pump connection problem: matching 1.25" hoses to 1.5" pump fittings. This 2-pack includes both adapters needed for a complete pump connection — one for the intake side and one for the return side. Q: Why do I need two adapters?
A: Pool pumps have two ports — an inlet (water coming from the pool) and an outlet (water going back to the filter/pool). Both ports need an adapter to connect 1.25" hoses to the 1.5" pump fittings. This 2-pack covers both.
Q: Does this fit Intex Model [X]?
A: This fits virtually all Intex filter pumps that have 1.5" threaded ports on the pump body and use 1.25" hoses. This includes most cartridge filter pumps (Models 603, 604, 635, 637) and sand filter pumps (2100 GPH, 2800 GPH, etc.).
Q: Do I need thread seal tape?
A: In most cases, no — the molded threads seal adequately when hand-tightened. If you notice a slight drip after installation, a wrap of PTFE thread seal tape will resolve it.
Q: Is this Hose Adapter A or B?
