Q: Will this fit my curved windshield?
A: This wiper is designed for flat windshields. On curved or contoured windshields, the blade may not make full contact across the entire sweep. For best results, verify your windshield is flat or gently curved before ordering.
Q: Can I install this on a polycarbonate (Lexan) windshield?
A: Yes. Use a step drill bit and go slowly to prevent cracking. The included rubber gaskets create a watertight seal that won't damage polycarbonate.
Q: How long does the wiper blade last?
A: With normal use the rubber blade insert should last 1-2 seasons. The blade is a standard 15.7" (400mm) replaceable insert available at most auto parts stores.
Q: Can I install this on the passenger side too?
A: Yes — two wipers can be installed for full windshield coverage. One kit covers one side. Order two for dual-wiper setup.
Q: Does this work in freezing conditions?
A: The manual lever operates regardless of temperature. However, frozen rubber blades on icy windshields should be freed before operation to prevent tearing the blade insert.
Q: What's the mounting hole size?
A: The mounting bolt requires a 3/8" (10mm) hole through the windshield. The included grommets and rubber washers accommodate windshield thickness from 3/16" to 1/2".
