Q: What's the difference between S3213 and S3214?
A: The S3213 has a 3.0" OD canister (~4.5" tall). The S3214 is a physically larger filter with a wider body. Both share the same 3/8" NPT threads and 10-micron rating. The S3213 is the most common fit for outboard applications.
Q: How often should I replace this filter?
A: Replace every 50-100 engine hours, or at minimum once per boating season. Replace immediately if you notice hard starting, engine surging, or visible water in your fuel system.
Q: Does this fit my Mercury outboard?
