Installation Steps
- Locate the inlet NOx sensor — typically in the exhaust downpipe before the SCR catalyst.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Use a 22mm O2 sensor socket to remove the old sensor.
- Apply anti-seize to the new sensor threads (keep compound off the probe tip).
- Thread in by hand, then torque to 35-40 ft-lbs.
- Reconnect the connector until it clicks. Clear any stored codes with a scan tool.
