Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I know if I have V-band or 3-bolt flange?
A: Look where the downpipe connects to the turbo outlet. A V-band clamp uses a single large ring clamp. A 3-bolt flange has three separate bolts in a triangular pattern. 2011–2015 (early) = V-band. 2015.5–2016 = 3-bolt.
Q: Will this fit Cab & Chassis trucks?
A: No. Cab & Chassis (commercial style) trucks have a different frame and exhaust routing. This is for pickup trucks only.
Q: Is T409 stainless steel magnetic?
A: Yes — unlike T304, T409 stainless is magnetic. This is normal. A magnet test does NOT mean it's not real stainless steel.
Q: Is this loud without a muffler?
A: Yes, this is a straight pipe. Expect a significantly louder, more aggressive exhaust note. If you want a quieter tone, see our muffler version (DP-0275).
