  • EGR Cooler Delete Kit for 2011-2023 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke — Complete Kit Overview

iFJF EGR Cooler Delete Kit for 2011-2023 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke — F-250/F-350

Product Overview The iFJF EGR Delete Kit for 2011-2023 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke F-250, F-350 Super Duty is a complete solution to permanently eliminate the troublesome Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system. The factory EGR system routes hot, soot-laden exhaust gas back into the intake manifold — causing carbon buildup, reduced engine efficiency, and premature component wear. When the EGR cooler fails (a common issue on the 6.7L Powerstroke), it can leak coolant into the intake, risking catastrophic engine damage. Our kit completely removes the EGR valve(s) and cooler(s), replaces them with precision CNC-machined billet aluminum and stainless steel block-off components, and restores clean, unobstructed airflow to your engine. Every component is engineered for exact OEM fitment — no cutting, welding, or permanent modifications required. Key Features Complete EGR System Removal: Includes all block-off plates, delete pipes, gaskets, and hardware to fully eliminate the EGR valve and cooler from your 6.7L Powerstroke. CNC Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum Construction: Precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum — far stronger and more durable than cast alternatives. Black anodized finish for corrosion resistance. 304 Stainless Steel Components: Cooler delete pipes and block-off plates use 304-grade stainless steel where required for maximum heat tolerance and longevity. OEM-Grade Gaskets & Seals: Multi-layer steel (MLS) and high-temperature composite gaskets ensure a perfect, leak-free seal — no exhaust or coolant leaks after installation. Direct Bolt-On Installation: All components use existing mounting points and hardware locations. Average install time: 4-6 hours with basic hand tools. Prevents Coolant Contamination: By removing the EGR cooler from the coolant circuit, you eliminate the risk of coolant leaking into the intake — one of the most common 6.7L catastrophic failures. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Will this kit fit my 2011 Ford F-250 6.7L Powerstroke?A: Yes. This kit is specifically designed for 2011-2023 Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke V8 turbo diesel engine, including F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 models. Q: Does installing an EGR delete require tuning?A: Yes — removing the EGR system will trigger a check engine light (CEL) unless the ECU is tuned to disable EGR-related DTCs. A custom tuner or EFI Live-compatible device is required. This kit includes the mechanical components only. Q: Will this void my factory warranty?A: Modifying the emissions system may affect your factory powertrain warranty coverage. We recommend consulting your dealer or warranty provider before installation. This product is intended for off-road/competition use. Q: How difficult is the installation?A: The installation is rated moderate to advanced. You'll need basic hand tools (socket set, wrenches, torque wrench), and mechanical experience with diesel engines is strongly recommended. Professional installation typically takes 4-6 hours. Q: What symptoms tell me my EGR cooler is failing?A: Common signs include: white smoke from the exhaust (coolant burning), unexplained coolant loss, coolant in the oil (milky oil appearance), rough idle, and P0401/P0402 error codes. If you notice these, your EGR cooler may already be leaking — immediate replacement or deletion is recommended. Q: Can I still pass emissions testing after installing this kit?A: This kit is designed for off-road and competition use only. Removing emissions equipment is not compliant with EPA/CARB regulations for on-road vehicles. Check your local and state regulations before purchase. Q: What other maintenance should I consider while installing this kit?A: While the intake is accessible, it's a great opportunity to clean the intake manifold, inspect turbo piping, and consider upgrading to a coolant filtration system. Check out our other 6.7L Powerstroke products for complete engine protection. Q: What's the difference between the EGR valve delete and EGR cooler delete?A: The valve delete blocks exhaust gases from entering the intake at the EGR valve port. The cooler delete removes the EGR cooler entirely from the coolant circuit — this is critical because a failed cooler can leak coolant into the intake and cause hydrolock. Our kit includes both. California Proposition 65 Warning: This product is intended for off-road/competition use only. Not CARB-compliant. Check local regulations before purchase.

  • 2014-2019 3.0L Dodge Ram 1500 EcoDiesel EGR Valve & Cooler Delete Kit

iFJF 2014-2019 3.0L Dodge Ram 1500 EcoDiesel EGR Valve & Cooler Delete Kit

Complete EGR Delete Solution for 2014-2019 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 Upgrade your 2014-2019 Ram 1500 with the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 using this professional-grade EGR delete kit. The VM Motori 3.0L EcoDiesel is known for its excellent fuel economy, but the factory EGR system is widely recognized as its most significant reliability weakness. This CNC-machined billet aluminum delete kit eliminates the failure-prone EGR valve and EGR cooler to protect your EcoDiesel from carbon fouling, coolant contamination, and the expensive repairs that have plagued thousands of EcoDiesel owners. Why Delete Your EcoDiesel EGR System? Intake Carbon Fouling (#1 EcoDiesel Problem): The EcoDiesel's EGR system routes heavy soot into the intake, which combines with oil vapor from the CCV system to form thick carbon deposits. This progressively chokes the intake manifold, swirl valves, and intake ports – reducing airflow and power. Cleaning requires complete intake disassembly ($1,200-$2,000 at shops). EGR Cooler Failure: The EcoDiesel's EGR cooler is susceptible to internal cracking, allowing engine coolant to enter the intake tract. Coolant in the combustion chamber can cause hydrolock and catastrophic engine damage. This is a well-documented failure point on the 3.0L EcoDiesel. Tonneau of Oil Dilution: EGR soot contamination accelerates oil degradation, requiring more frequent oil changes and increasing engine bearing wear. Reduced Fuel Economy: Diluted intake charge from EGR reduces combustion efficiency, negating some of the fuel economy benefits that make the EcoDiesel attractive. Expensive Repairs: Dealership EGR cooler replacement on EcoDiesel typically costs $2,500-$4,000, and intake cleaning adds another $1,000-$2,000. What's Included Component Material Function EGR Cooler Block-Off Plates CNC Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum Seals EGR cooler ports at intake and exhaust manifolds EGR Valve Delete Plate CNC Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum Replaces EGR valve with solid billet block-off Coolant Reroute Fittings Billet Aluminum Maintains proper coolant flow path after cooler removal Mounting Hardware Grade 10.9 Steel Complete gaskets, bolts, and installation hardware kit Vehicle Compatibility Year Make Model Engine 2014-2019 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 Turbo Diesel Premium Build Quality CNC-Machined 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum: Precision-engineered for exact port matching on the EcoDiesel's compact engine architecture. Cooler Intake Temperatures: No more 400°F+ EGR gas heating the intake charge. Improved Fuel Economy: Cleaner, denser intake air for more efficient combustion. 1-3 MPG improvement commonly reported. Extended Oil Life: Zero soot contamination means cleaner oil and longer intervals between changes. Eliminated Coolant Loss Risk: No EGR cooler to fail and send coolant into your cylinders. Reduced Maintenance Costs: Eliminates the most expensive and failure-prone system on the EcoDiesel. Installation Overview This kit is designed for experienced DIY mechanics and professional shops. The EcoDiesel's compact engine bay requires significant disassembly. Estimated installation time: 5-8 hours. Requires compatible tuning solution to disable EGR-related DTCs and optimize engine parameters. Professional installation recommended for most owners. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Will this fit my 2016 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel Laramie?A: Yes. This kit fits all 2014-2019 Ram 1500 models equipped with the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine. Trim level (Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Laramie, Longhorn, Limited) does not affect fitment. Q: Do I need a tune after EGR delete on EcoDiesel?A: Yes, absolutely. The EcoDiesel ECM will detect EGR system changes and may enter limp mode or trigger persistent check engine lights. A compatible tuning solution is required to properly disable EGR functions. Q: Will this fix my EcoDiesel's carbon buildup problem?A: This kit prevents future carbon buildup by eliminating the source (EGR soot). However, existing carbon deposits in the intake manifold must be cleaned separately. We strongly recommend performing an intake cleaning at the same time as the EGR delete installation. Q: Is this a permanent fix for EcoDiesel reliability?A: The EGR system is the #1 reliability concern on the 3.0L EcoDiesel. Deleting it addresses the root cause of carbon fouling and coolant contamination. Combined with proper maintenance, this is the single most impactful reliability upgrade for EcoDiesel owners. Q: How does EGR delete affect my EcoDiesel's fuel economy?A: Most owners report a 1-3 MPG improvement. Cleaner intake air, no EGR dilution, and more efficient combustion all contribute to better fuel economy – especially in highway driving. Q: What about the CCV system – should I delete that too?A: While this kit focuses on EGR, the CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) system also contributes to intake carbon fouling by introducing oil vapor. Many EcoDiesel owners choose to install a CCV reroute or catch can system alongside the EGR delete for maximum intake cleanliness. Q: Is this product street-legal?A: This product is designed for off-road and competition use only. Not intended for use on emissions-regulated highway vehicles. The VM Motori 2.5L is otherwise a stout and reliable engine, but the EGR system is its Achilles' heel — particularly on vehicles seeing short trips or low-speed driving. The combination of diesel soot and crankcase oil vapor creates a sticky tar-like substance that progressively narrows the intake manifold runners. By 80,000-100,000 miles, many Liberty CRD intake manifolds are so restricted that power loss is noticeable and fuel economy drops significantly. This kit stops that process permanently. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Will this trigger a check engine light on my Liberty CRD?A: Yes. The ECU monitors EGR flow and sets DTCs if removed. Custom ECU tune disabling EGR monitoring is recommended. For off-road vehicles, this is standard practice. Q: Do I need both Stage 1 and Stage 2 plates?A: We recommend installing both for a complete solution. Stage 1 alone blocks at intake but leaves exhaust plumbing that traps soot. Both stages provide a clean, complete removal. Q: How difficult is this installation?A: Moderate difficulty. EGR valve is at the front of the engine and reasonably accessible. Budget 2-3 hours for first-time DIY with basic metric tools. Q: What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2?A: Stage 1 blocks EGR at the intake manifold — minimum to stop exhaust gas from entering intake. Stage 2 blocks at the exhaust manifold — reduces under-hood temperatures and eliminates leaks from unused plumbing. Q: Compatible with the 2.8L Liberty CRD?A: The 2.8L VM Motori has different EGR port dimensions. While the kit may bolt up, we cannot guarantee a perfect seal. Verify port dimensions before ordering. 📚 Related Guides & Articles What Is an EGR Delete Kit? Product Overview The iFJF Complete EGR Delete Kit with Intake Manifold is the definitive fix for 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke EGR failures. No Turbo Removal Needed: Engineered for installation without removing the turbocharger or intake manifold — saves hours of labor. Stainless Steel Construction: Premium stainless steel plates and piping resist corrosion and handle extreme exhaust temperatures without warping. Eliminates EGR Cooler Failures: The 6.0L EGR cooler is a well-known failure point that can cause catastrophic engine damage. This kit permanently removes the risk. Improved Coolant Flow: Removing the EGR cooler improves overall coolant system efficiency, helping prevent the 6.0L's notorious overheating issues. It is NOT legal for use on public roads in the United States. Installation may violate federal, state, and local emissions regulations. NOT CARB compliant. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Do I really not need to remove the turbo?A: Correct. This kit is specifically designed to install without turbocharger or intake manifold removal — a major advantage over many competing kits. The plates are shaped to slide into position with the turbo in place. Q: Will this cause a check engine light?A: Without an ECU tuner, yes — the PCM will detect missing EGR system components and trigger DTCs. We strongly recommend using a performance tuner (SCT, Edge, etc.) to disable EGR-related codes. Q: Will this kit solve my 6.0L overheating problems?A: Removing the EGR cooler eliminates a major heat source in the cooling system, which helps. However, 6.0L overheating can also be caused by a clogged oil cooler, failing water pump, or head gasket issues — those should be diagnosed separately. These components are for off-road use only. Q: Is this legal for street use?A: No. EGR delete kits are intended for off-road, competition, and agricultural use only. They are not compliant with on-highway emissions regulations in the United States or Canada. Q: Do I need a tuner after installing this kit?A: Yes. After installing an EGR delete kit, you must reprogram the ECM with appropriate tuning to prevent check engine lights and ensure proper engine operation. Q: How difficult is the installation?A: Installation difficulty varies by vehicle. Most kits require 3-6 hours with basic hand tools. Professional installation is recommended. A factory service manual is helpful. Q: Will this void my warranty?A: Modifying emissions control systems may affect your factory warranty coverage. Check with your dealer or review the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act for details. Q: What material are the block-off plates made from?A: Our plates are CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum for superior strength, corrosion resistance, and perfect flatness for leak-free sealing. EGR Valve Delete Kit with Intake Elbow for 6.4 Powerstroke Diesel Ford 2008-2010 — Off-Road

Product Overview The iFJF EGR Valve Delete Kit is a comprehensive solution for 2008-2010 Ford Super Duty trucks with the 6.4L Powerstroke diesel engine. This kit includes a CNC-machined billet aluminum intake elbow plus complete EGR cooler block-off plates — addressing the #1 reliability concern of the 6.4L platform. ⚠️ For off-road and competition use only. Tuning required. Key Features Complete Kit — Includes billet aluminum intake elbow, EGR cooler block-off plates (both banks), high-temperature gaskets, O-rings, and Grade 8 hardware. No piecing together parts from multiple vendors. CNC Billet Intake Elbow — Replaces the restrictive, failure-prone factory EGR elbow. Smooth internal flow path improves airflow. Anodized finish for corrosion resistance. Eliminates EGR Cooler Failure Risk — The 6.4L EGR coolers are known to crack internally, causing coolant loss and potential hydrolock. This kit removes that failure mode entirely. Lower EGTs — Without hot exhaust gas being recirculated into the intake, exhaust gas temperatures drop 100-200°F — critical for towing reliability. Improved Turbo Response — Cleaner, cooler intake air means denser charge and faster turbo spool. Noticeable improvement in throttle response. Compatibility Vehicle Engine Years Ford F250 Super Duty 6.4L Powerstroke V8 Diesel 2008-2010 Ford F350 Super Duty 6.4L Powerstroke V8 Diesel 2008-2010 Ford F450 Super Duty 6.4L Powerstroke V8 Diesel 2008-2010 Ford F550 Super Duty 6.4L Powerstroke V8 Diesel 2008-2010 Specifications Spec Value Brand iFJF Material (Elbow) 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum Material (Plates) 304 Stainless Steel Finish Black Anodized Gaskets Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Tuning Required Yes (EGR DTC Disable) Use Off-Road / Competition Only Why Choose iFJF The 6.4L Powerstroke can be a great engine — once the EGR system is addressed. iFJF's kit uses billet aluminum and stainless steel components that will outlast the truck. Unlike cheaper kits with thin stamped plates and paper gaskets, our MLS gaskets and precision-machined elbow ensure a leak-free installation. Installation Instructions Disconnect batteries — Both batteries. Allow engine to cool completely. Remove intake piping — Air filter housing, intake tube, and charge air cooler pipes to access the EGR components. Remove factory EGR elbow — Unbolt from the intake manifold. This is the large cast aluminum piece on top of the engine. Remove EGR coolers — Both passenger-side and driver-side coolers must be removed. The passenger side is tight — removal of the inner fender liner helps access. Install block-off plates — Mount the stainless steel plates where the EGR coolers connected to the exhaust manifolds. Use MLS gaskets. Torque to factory spec. Install billet intake elbow — Position with new O-ring seal. Torque bolts evenly to 18 ft-lbs. Reinstall intake piping and tune — Reconnect all intake components. Flash ECU with EGR-disable tune before starting engine. Frequently Asked Questions Q: What's included in this 6.4 Powerstroke EGR delete kit?A: The kit includes a CNC-machined billet aluminum intake elbow (replaces the EGR-equipped factory elbow), block-off plates for both EGR coolers, all necessary gaskets, O-rings, and Grade 8 mounting hardware. Everything for a complete installation. Q: Why delete the EGR on a 6.4 Powerstroke?A: The 6.4L Powerstroke's EGR system is notorious for cooler failure, which can lead to coolant entering the cylinders (hydrolock). Deleting the EGR system eliminates this catastrophic failure risk and improves reliability. For off-road use only. Q: Is tuning required after EGR delete?A: Yes. The factory ECU will detect the missing EGR system and trigger a check engine light. You'll need an aftermarket tuner or custom tune to disable EGR-related DTCs and optimize performance. Q: Is this a complete kit or do I need additional parts?A: This is a complete EGR delete kit — intake elbow, cooler block-off plates, gaskets, and hardware. You may want to combine this with a DPF delete for maximum reliability gains (sold separately). Q: How long does installation take?A: Professional installation: 4-6 hours. Experienced DIY: 6-10 hours. The passenger-side EGR cooler is particularly tight on the 6.4L. Consider replacing the up-pipes while you have access.
