Fitment:
2015.5-2016 GMC Chevy Duramax 6.6L 2500/3500 pickup with the LML engine. This kit will only fit models equipped with the OEM-style 3-bolt flange coming off of the turbo direct pipe. Race tuning is required. Will not fit Cab & Chassis trucks.
Features:
2015 or 2015.5 - 2015 is a split year. The 2011-2015 downpipe attaches to the turbo pipe with a V-band type clamp. The 2015.5-2016 models use a 3-bolt flange connection. Be sure to visually check the type of clamp your truck is equipped with.
The exhaust pipe is constructed from T409 stainless steel, which is commonly mistaken as non-magnetic like T304 stainless steel. However, it should be noted that T409 stainless steel remains magnetic and can be verified by its attraction to a magnet.
Installation - Installation typically takes about 1 hour using basic hand tools in the convenience of your driveway or garage, with the option for a quicker process if utilizing a car elevator. It may be necessary to trim for installation on a shorter wheelbase. The package includes clamps, hangers, and fasteners, although there may be a need to reuse some factory fasteners.
Fuel mileage - Expect a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is clogged, you probably average about 13-14 miles per hour. More or less depending on the degree of clogging. After removing the DPF/CAT, expect a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. Big tires and poor driving habits will result in lower mileage.
Tuner required - A tuner capable of DPF delete is necessary for the removal and elimination of emission related sensors, such as the DPF, CAT, SCR, and/or DOC, in order to prevent any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from setting. If you don't already have a tuner with DPF removal capability, we recommend EZ Lynk.
