Clean the hard top leading edge and windshield frame contact area with rubbing alcohol or a degreaser. The surface must be completely dry and free of dirt, wax, or old adhesive.
Test-fit the strip without removing the adhesive backing to confirm positioning. The strip should sit flush along the full length of the seal path.
Peel 2-3 inches of the red backing film and align the exposed adhesive edge to the surface. Press firmly.
Continue peeling and pressing in small sections until the entire strip is installed. This prevents misalignment and air bubbles.
Apply firm, even pressure along the entire length of the strip. A roller or the back of a screwdriver handle wrapped in a microfiber cloth works well.
Wait 2-3 hours before driving. For maximum bond strength, allow 24 hours before exposing the seal to heavy rain or a car wash.
